Each year, DCC participates in Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child program, which "sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
Shoeboxes and instructions/ideas for how to pack a box will be in the foyer for pickup on October 12.
The cost to ship each box is $10 (instructions for shipping are included with the boxes).
All boxes will be collected in the foyer on Sunday, Nov. 16.
For those who have packed boxes before, please note that toothpaste will not be permitted this year.
